Changing the Date & Time Display

  • Press VMAIL or 450 on your phone or call your main number.
  • Press * (star) and then # (pound).
  • Enter Mailbox #00
  • Enter password 9#56
  • Press 4Follow prompts as follows:
  • Press 1 to review time and date.
  • Press 2 to change time and date.
  • Enter time in 24 hour format HH : MM.
  • Enter date in Month: Day: 4 digit Year format.
  • Press * (Star) to exit.
  • Press On/Off Button to exit voicemail programming.**Note: If your system has 2 digit extensions the mailbox you enter is #0. If your system has 4 digit extensions the mailbox you enter is #000.

*PLEASE NOTE: The voicemail is looking at the phone system date and time.

  • Please change the date and time of the phone system first by pressing 692 and putting in the date and time using the YYMMDDHHMM format.
  • Press VM button
  • Enter your passcode
  • Press 7
  • Enter passcode 2275 – If your mailbox is setup for admin rights you may or may not have to enter the passcode
  • Press 8
  • Press 4 – This will change the time and the date for the VM to the current time on the phone system.The system will say, “Date and Time has now been changed”.
  • Press VM button
  • Enter your passcode
  • Press 7
  • Enter passcode 2275
  • Press 8
  • Press 4
  • Follow prompts

**This must be performed on the attendant station**

**To find the attendant station dial 0 on any phone and listen to see which phone rings. Go to ringing phone and use instructions below**

  • Dial 692
  • Enter Date and Time: YY – Year last two digits MM – Month two digits DD – Day two digits HH – Hour two digits (24 hour format, i.e. 1:00 PM = 13) MM – Minutes
  • You should hear a series a confirmation tones if successful Push On/Off button

At the Attendant phone :

  • Press PGM 0, 4
  • Press 1 – System Date Time Set Set Date: MM – Month 2 digits DD – Day 2 digits YY – Day 2 digits
  • Press Hold/Save Set Time: HH – Hour two digits 24 hour format, i.e. 1:00 PM = 13 MM – Minutes two digits
  • Press Hold/Save

At the Attendant phone:

  • Press PGM 0, 4
  • Press 1 – System Date Time Set Set Date: MM – Month 2 digits DD – Day 2 digits YY – Day 2 digits

Changing your Voicemail Greeting

At the Attendant phone:

  • Press PGM 0, 4
  • Press 1 – System Date Time Set Set Date: MM – Month 2 digits DD – Day 2 digits YY – Day 2 digits
  • Press Hold/Save Set Time: HH – Hour two digits 24 hour format, i.e. 1:00 PM = 13 MM – Minutes two digits
  • Press Hold/Save

From Attendant Phone (usually Station 100):

  1. Press Trans/Pgm “06”
  2. Display will say, “Enter System #” (This is the greeting you want to record)
  3. Press “001” for day greeting or “002” for night greeting if you have one
  4. Display will say, “Press Record Type” (This is the language you want to record in)
  5. Press “1”. 6. Press # to record message.
  6. When finished recording, press the Hold/Save button.
  7. Repeat Steps 2 – 6 for a another greeting if required.
  8. Otherwise, hang up the phone when you have finished recording all your greetings.

** Log on to the Pathfinder IP web interface and go to System Administration, Menus, Edit Keys. Make sure Sequence Key ‘8’ or another unused key is set to “Record Prompts” for the Primary Menu and any other Menus being used.**

** The greetings work off a timer in the Voice Mail System. For example, a day greeting is usually 8 am to 5 pm and the night greeting is from 5 pm to 8 am. You need to record the greetings during that particular time of day.**

To record day greeting message:

  • Call the main number
  • Wait for the default auto attendant greeting or greeting that was previously recorded.
  • Press 8 during the greeting.
  • Enter 2275#. (this is the password + #)
  • Press 3. (this will record prompt 3, which is the correct prompt for most customers)
  • Press 1 to listen to the previously recorded message (if any)
  • Press 2 to record or re-record the message.
  • Follow prompts.
  • After you are finished, hang up
  • Test the message by calling the phone number and listen to see if your greeting was recorded successfully.
  • Record your greeting
  • Press the trans/prog key, dial 06, dial 002, then dial 1.
  • Press the # key to record.
  • To listen to your greeting, perform the same but don’t hit the # button
  • At the attendant phone, hit the DND button, dial 2 and hold
  • You now have the greeting for your holiday vacation
  • When you return from break, Press the DND button and press 4, then Hold this will put your system back into the auto ring mode.
  • Press VM button
  • Enter your passcode
  • Press 7
  • Enter passcode 2275
  • Press 1 for greetings
  • Press 1 for menus
  • Enter 100 for Day Greeting or 120 for Night greeting
  • Follow prompts
  • Hang up phone or press on/off button to finish
  • When finished with day greeting repeat above steps for night greeting

At the Attendant Phone:

  • Press TRANS/PGM, 0, 6
  • Press 001 for your greeting
  • If you have never recorded this greeting press # (You will hear a tone which means it is recording)
  • Press # when finished
  • If you have recorded this greeting and want to re-record Press # (You will hear your previously recorded greeting)
  • Press # again to re-record
  • Press # when finished

Ring Tones, Names, and Passwords

  • Dial 695.
  • Dial desired ring code 00-35.
  • When desired ring tone is selected, press SPEED to save.

Go to extension to be renamed.

  • Dial 690 on the dial pad.
  • Use dial pad keys to enter name (up to 7 characters).
  • Press SPEED to save.
  • Example: John J=51 O=63 H=42 N=62.
  • To erase your name: Dial 690 on the dial pad.
  • Press SPEED to complete the erasing process.
  • Press VMAIL or 450 on your phone or call your main number.
  • Press * (star) and then # (pound).
  • Enter Mailbox #00
  • Enter password 9#56
  • Press 2 for Mailbox Administration Enter Mailbox extension to change.
  • Press 1 to change an access code.
  • Enter new password followed by # (Pound) key. (0000 is default).
  • Press On/Off Button to end programming.**Note ** If your system has 2 digit extensions the mailbox you enter is #0. If your system has 4 digit extensions the mailbox you enter is #000.
  • Press VM button
  • Enter your passcode
  • Press 7
  • Enter passcode 2275
  • Press 2
  • Press 1
  • Enter Mailbox #
  • Follow prompts

Call Forwarding & Speed Dial

To Activate Forwarding:

  • Press the line that you want to forward, press *72 on the keypad + the phone number you want to forward to
  • Ex. Press Line 1, *72, 303-555-1234 – You should hear dial tone
  • Hang up the phone and call the line you just forwarded
  • You should now be forwardedTo Turn Off Forwarding:
  • Press the line that you are forwarding, press *73
  • Hang up and call the line you just unforwarded
  • Forwarding should be now off

On your phone:

  • Press the Callback button to access your voice mail.
  • Press 3 (Send option) to send a message to another mailbox.
  • Listen to the prompt to start recording your message after the tone. (Your message must be 5 seconds or longer)
  • Press # to end your recording.
  • Now the system will ask you for the mailbox you want to send your message to***
  • Enter the three digit mailbox number (i.e. 101).
  • Your message has now been sent to the mailbox. You may now hang up.***If your message is shorter than 5 seconds you will not be prompted for the mailbox.
    ***YOUR MESSAGE MUST BE LONGER THAN 5 SECONDS.

  • Hang up your phone – the party on the other end will now go directly to Voicemail
How do I do a direct transfer to my mailbox or extension for a XTS or STS system?2018-08-10T00:15:39+00:00

Please be aware, that this is for your individual mailbox (per mailbox)

1. Direct Transfer to your mailbox, means: A call comes in through the auto attendant, the caller dials your extension, it then goes directly to your mailbox greeting (it doesn’t ring your phone first).
2. Transfer to your extension, means: A call comes in through the auto attendant, the caller dials your extension, it then rings your extension for 4 rings, if you don’t answer, it will go into your voice mail and play your greeting.

Here are the steps to program either one of these functions:

  • Press your voice mail button
  • Enter your password
  • Press 3 for voice mail options
  • Press 4 for Direct Transfer
  • Press 1 for transfer your extension, and then to your voice mailbox or Press 2 for direct transfer to your voice mail box without ringing your extension.
  • Finished! Just hang up.

  • At the phone you would like to change the ring on, with the handset in the cradle – Press 695
  • Your Ring Tones are 00-36
  • Enter the ring that you wish to hear 00-36.
  • When you hear the tone you want, press “Speed” to save that tone your station.
How do I establish a conference call for STSe, XTS-IP and XTSc-IP?2018-08-10T00:09:56+00:00

To establish a conference call for STSe, XTS-IP and XTSc-IP:

  • Lift handset
  • Dial an outside caller or Intercom someone in your office
  • When party answers Press the Conf Button. ( This will put the party on a conf hold)
  • Get an outside line to dial another party or Intercom another person in your office.
  • When they answer you, press the Conf Button again. You can repeat this process; up to 8 parties. This includes you.
  • When you are ready for the Conference Press the Conf. Button Twice. This will bring everyone together.

To Add Someone to a Conference that is already established:

  • The Station that established the initial Conference is where this needs to be done.
  • Press the Hold Button, This will all parties of the conference on hold.
  • Then you establish the conference adding the new party to the conference call.

If you would like to have a party dismissed from the conference:

  • Just have the Party hang up. Within a few seconds the Conference call with readjust.

  • Press Trans/Pgm, 68 – This is the toggle to turn the feature on and off
  • Press 1 to turn the feature on, Press 2 to turn feature off
  • Press Hold/Save to save your choice
  • Press Trans/Pgm 69 – This is where you enter what phone number you want to notify
  • Press Hold/Save to save your choice
  • You will now be notified if you have messages
